B.J. Taylor is a Laurel resident and a longtime activist for progressive causes across Maryland and Anne Arundel County. He is running for the District 21 seat on the Anne Arundel County Democratic Central Committee. Taylor, 29, is an editor for a health care publishing company in Washington, D.C. and lives in the Russett Community where he has been on the board of directors for the past four years. In addition to being on Russett’s board of directors as vice president he has worked with many homeowners in the Maryland City, Piney Orchard and Russett area on the Laurel Park Impact Fee Advisory Committee, Oak Hill Task Force and District 21 Scholarship Committee.
