Members of the 21st District Democratic Team have picked up some key endorsements over the past week!

Delegates Barbara Frush and Brian Moe have received a 100% score from the League of Conservation Voters on the 2005-2006 General Assembly Scorecard. This biennial report indicates the votes taken on such issues as the Healthy Air Act, restrictions on the sale of Maryland's valuable open space lands and protection of the Blackwater National Refuge. The LCV analyzed and evaluated the legislative performance of the General Assembly in order to
make the citizens of Maryland aware of their "heros" on environmental issues. Delegate Frush and Delegate Moe also received the coveted endorsement from the League of Conservation Voters.

Delegate Barbara Frush and Delegate Brian Moe also received the endorsement from Progressive Maryland, a group of citizens concerned about advancing the concept of good and open government. Progressive Maryland takes on issues such as a "living wage," increase in minimum wage, reducing the high rate of electric utility bills, education, health care issues and issues of public concern.

In addition, Delegates Frush and Moe, and 21st District Team member and House of Delegates candidate Ben Barnes received the endorsement of the AFL-CIO for the upcoming election.

And, Team member and State Senate candidate Jim Rosapepe has won designation as a "Blue Crab" Candidate by the Blue Crab Project in recognition of his strong record in fighting for the environment and to save the Chesapeake
Bay. Blue Crab Project Director Howard R. Ernst, Ph.D., wrote “We designated Jim Rosapepe as a Blue Crab candidate to let District 21 residents know he is a strong, pro-Bay challenger in the 2006 election. He is a Bay hero, not a Bay zero.”
